Job description

SENIOR EVENT PROJECT MANAGER IN MADRID (F/M)

To manage the full development cycle of corporate events in line with our sustainability methodology, to achieve deadlines and present quality projects that allow us to win proposals and execute projects successfully.

Event planning:

-Defining/understanding the objectives and goals of the event and aligning them with the proposal.

-Development of a work plan with key dates, budget, necessary resources and schedule of activities.

-Creation of the creative/technical proposal together with the creative team according to briefing and event indications (if necessary).

Organization of all event related documentation in Google Drive folders.

-Ensuring that the event complies with Nanook's sustainability plan.

~ Event management:

-Preparation and management of event budgets.Strong understanding of excel is a must for budgets preparation.

-Monitoring expenses, and finding ways to maximise efficiency and minimise unnecessary costs.

-Coordination of logistical aspects of the event: (Preparation of the Day by Day document and supervision of the execution of the event on the day of the event.

-Ensuring client expectations are exceeded by proper preparation of the event in advance and clear, transportant communication with all parties involved.

-Post-event:

-Conducting debriefing with client to analyse and measure the outcome of the event.

-Preparation of case study as well as mailing of customer satisfaction survey.

Responsible for submitting proposals within deadlines and meeting the required quality.

-Responsible for the coordination and follow-upa with all parties involved in the project.

-Responsible for the smooth running of the event on the day of the event.

-Responsible for the closing of the project in the corporate tools required for this purpose.

Degree in marketing, communication, journalism, advertising, psychology or similar.

-Specific education or training in protocol and event management or hospitality will be an asset.

-At least 7 years of experience in the execution of full service corporate events and experience in international events.

-Google Workspace skills are a must.

-English and Spanish: Leadership skills: know how to strategically coordinate with other parties and teams (creativity, suppliers...

etc) -
